Green Christmas Tree Card

Directions:

Punch a super duper scalloped square out of the ivory card and stick onto top centre of the green card blank with glue or use sticky foam pads for a 3D raised look.

Next punch a super Christmas tree shape out of the green mirror card and stick that onto the centre of the scalloped square shape again with glue or sticky foam pads depending on which you prefer.

Use hi-tack very sticky glue to make some thick sloping lines across the tree shape, a bit like tinsel would hang on the tree. Then put the card to one side until the glue is almost dry but still very tacky to the touch, at this point use a finger tip to rub gold glitter into the glue making sure you cover the glue completely with glitter. Brush and tap any excess glitter off of the card blank onto a spare sheet of paper and tip it back into your glitter pot to avoid wastage. Alternatively you can use Stickles gold glitter glue here to draw the tinsel lines on the tree.

Use the regular star punch to punch out a star from the gold metallic paper and stick the star above the top of the tree (if you used sticky foam pads to stick the tree, use a tiny foam pad behind the star too).

Use glue to stick small metallic confetti stars over the tree like decorations. You can also randomly stick more confetti or punched stars on the card blank if you wish.

Finally stick the greetings banner onto the bottom centre of the card blank with glue or sticky foam pads. On this card we used a greetings banner that reads ‘Christmas Greetings’ from the ‘Christmas Greetings Banners – Gold & Magnolia’ pack, the banner pictured is gold foil printed onto pearlised magnolia card.
