Funky Heart Wedding Card

This is a simple but very effective wedding day card. Perfect for making for that special couple on their special day! The beautiful stamped wording on this card reads – And now, your Wedding Day is here, Together you will stand, And pledge your Love, so Sweet so Dear, Forever, Hand in Hand.

What you will need to make this card:

1. A6 white card blank
2. Silver mirror card
3. 15mm satin ribbon – white/silver hearts
4. Large lever craft punch – funky heart
5. Your Wedding Day woodmounted stamp
6. Silver pigment ink pad
7. Embossing Powder – Detail Silver
8. Heat gun tool
8. Double sided sticky tape & Sticky Foam Pads
9. Scissors

How to make this card:

Use the card blank tent fold landscape style.

Cut a length of the silver hearts ribbon that is long enough to go along the longest edge of the card blank. Use double sided sticky tape to stick the ribbon along the card blank about 2cm up from the bottom edge folding the ends of the ribbon over inside the card blank.

Using the rubber stamp and the silver ink pad, stamp the wording image on the right hand side of the card above the ribbon positioned as shown in the picture. Sprinkle the wet ink liberally with the detail silver embossing powder. Tap off any excess powder and place it back in the tub, make sure there isn’t any extra powder surrounding the stamped image. Use a heat gun to heat the powder up for a shiny embossed wording finish taking care not to scorch the card.

Use the funky heart punch to punch out 4 hearts from the silver mirror card. Use sticky foam pads to stick the hearts over on the left hand side of the card blank as shown in the picture.
