Here is the completed card, at the bottom there is a picture taken at an angle to show the decoupage layers.

Green Sports Car Father’s Day Card

Items used to make this card:

  1. 7″x5″ Cream Card Blank
  2. Gold pearlised card
  3. Ivory pearlised card
  4. Die-Cut Decoupage Sheet – Cars
  5. Father’s/Mother’s Day/Brother/Sister Peel Off Sheet – Gold
  6. Woodware Mini Round Brads – Primary
  7. Sticky foam pads and sticky foam tape
  8. Craft knife, pencil, ruler & cutting mat

Directions to make:

Measure and cut out a 16cm x 11cm rectangle from the gold pearlised card and a 15cm x 10cm rectangle from the ivory pearlised card. Layer the ivory rectangle on top of the gold rectangle and secure them together by pushing a mini round green brad through each of the four corners.

Use sticky foam tape to stick the layered pearlised card rectangles onto the centre of the card blank. Turn the card to landscape / tent fold style.

Push all of the image ‘A’ sections out of the decoupage sheet and using sticky foam pads layer them in the correct order onto the centre of the ivory rectangle.

Remove a ‘Happy’, a ‘Father’s’ and a ‘Day’ wording stickers from the gold Father’s/Mother’s Day/Brother/Sister peel off backing sheet and stick the ‘Happy’ above the car to the top left and the ‘Father’s Day’ below the car to the bottom right. You may wish to use a ruler or a straight edge to ensure you apply the words straight.

Floral Die-cut Decoupage #3

Click on the following links to view the first two card designs in this set of three – Floral Die-cut Decoupage #1 and Floral Die-cut Decoupage #2.

Pictured here is a completed card, at the bottom there is a picture taken at an angle to show the decoupage layers.

Floral 122 Decoupage Card #3

What is required to make this card:

  1. 7″x5″ Card Blank White
  2. Extra plain white card
  3. Die-Cut Decoupage Sheet – Floral 122
  4. Organza 7mm Ribbon – Bright Pink
  5. Stickles Glitter Glue – Pink
  6. Happy Birthday Peel Off Sheet – Diamond Pink
  7. Sticky foam pads and sticky foam tape
  8. Craft knife, pencil, ruler & cutting mat

Directions to make:

Measure and cut out a 178mm x 30mm rectangle from the spare white card. On this strip of card using a ruler and pencil make a mark at the exact centre. Then make five further marks either side of the centre mark, the first two 2cm from the centre on each side, the second two 1cm on from those marks, the third two 2cm further on, the fourth two 1cm either side and the final two marks 2cm from those. Placing the card strip vertically, use a craft knife to make small 6mm horizontal slits at all of the marks apart from the centre mark. Erase any remaining pencil marks or use the marked side as the back.

Cut a 20cm length of the bright pink organza ribbon. Thread the ribbon in and out of the slits on the card strip starting from the back of the top slit. You should end up with the ends of the ribbon poking through the back of the top and bottom slits. Pull the ribbon through so the ends are roughly even in length, trim the ends and secure each one down with a strip of sticky foam tape making sure the tape does not stick out over the edges of the card strip. Apply more strips of foam tape along the card strip and then use these to stick the decorative ribbon border to the card blank so it is lined up with the very left hand edge.

Cut another 20cm length of the pink organza ribbon and tie it in a bow around the centre of the threaded ribbon on the card border strip, trim the ribbon bow ends as required.

Push all of the image ‘C’ sections out of the decoupage sheet and using sticky foam pads layer them in the correct order onto the card blank to the right hand side of the ribbon border, leaving a gap at the bottom of the card for the sentiment.

Next from more spare white card measure and cut a 80mm x 25mm rectangle and a 20mm x 20mm square. Remove one of the Happy Birthday wording sets of stickers from the diamond pink happy birthday peel off backing sheet and stick them to the white card rectangle using a ruler to ensure the words are straight. Remove a flower from the same peel off sheet and stick it to the centre of the card square.

Use sticky foam pads to stick the Happy Birthday rectangle to the bottom of the card blank and the flower square to the top right of the card blank.

Use the pink stickles glitter glue to draw a line around the edges of both the Happy Birthday rectangle and the flower square. Leave the card laid flat to one side to allow the glitter glue to dry before use.
